Su'Anima Cannonau di Sardegna 2021 - Su'Entu (Sardinia)
The winery has a vineyard area of 40 hectares that is constantly exposed to the wind, a precious element for the grapes. The breeze, starting from the sea and crossing the Campidano, ensures healthiness to the plants and gives the fruits their characteristic flavor. The climate is warm-temperate with mild winters and low rainfall which produces grapes with very good concentration. Su'Anima is made using 100% Cannonau grapes that are destemmed, soft pressed and macerated for 7 days after which the fermentation takes place in temperature controlled fermentation. The wine is then moved to age in second passage barriques for 12 months and an additional 2 months in bottle before release. The color is deep ruby red with orange tinted edges.
